Learning by doing. Anytime, anywhere.
SimTutor is a simulation eLearning, management and content company offering interactive, cloud-based solutions to raise and improve the accuracy, skills and understanding of workforces around the globe. Organizations can purchase market-specific solutions for their employees, while instructional designers can purchase a comprehensive suite of content planning and authoring tools to create learning modules for their own customers.
SimTutor Inc, is the parent company of SimTutor and SIMTICS, two New Zealand based companies providing eLearning solutions to the US and beyond since 2008.
SimTutor Authoring is the trusted simulation and scenario based training platform used by global corporations to drive learning and development across multiple industries.
The learn-by-doing approach, based on educational research and cognitive psychology, makes personalized, self-paced employee training effective and engaging. The deep learning and high retention level achieved delivers the desired behavior and performance in the workplace.
SIMTICS offers medical simulation training. Multi-media cognitive simulations are integrated into the learning platform with 3D anatomy, how-to video, explanatory text and a quiz. Like a “flight simulator for clinical procedures”, computer based simulation reduces the risks of learning and enables repeated practice so learners can build both competence and confidence.
It began in 1998. Doctors George Oosthuizen and John Windsor were frustrated with the way in which medical students were taught to perform complex procedures. Traditional training through textbooks, observation, face-to-face sessions, and written tests was costly, time-consuming and ineffective.
The medical duo turned to technology to create a solution to produce better educational outcomes - a solution that combined both theory and practice and improved proficiency and confidence levels dramatically.
Created and incubated in New Zealand, the SimTutor platform has evolved into a leading eLearning tool, which is used world-wide across multiple industries.
SimTutor enables organizations to deploy state-of-the-art learning simulations into training curriculum, quickly, inexpensively, and at large scale. We offer world-class tools and expertise for the creation of simulation-based training for any industry.
SimTutor is driving competence and performance to new levels and building human intelligence into multinational corporations, as well as local businesses in small corners of the planet!
Build intelligence in your organization with SimTutor.
